It detects three types of EMF pollution: AC magnetic, AC electric, and RF/microwave, and has a special frequency weighting mode for measuring EMF in the human body.
The TriField® TF2 EMF Meter is easy to use and has a large LCD that shows accurate readings clearly. Because it comes with an adjustable backlight, it can be used in low-light environments, and its audio indicator helps in spotting EMF sources easily. It can operate for more than 20 hours with the backlight off and up to 12 hours with the backlight on, and it comes with a 9V alkaline battery that includes a low battery indicator.

TriField is the meter model line made by AlphaLab, Inc., a US-based instrument manufacturer that’s been building EMF and EMI test equipment since 1993. The TF2 is the current model — instead of separate single-purpose testers, it combines three measurement types (AC magnetic, AC electric, and RF/microwave) in one handheld device, which is why it’s widely used as an all-round starting meter for home EMF testing.
Turn the dial to the field you want to measure (Magnetic, Electric, or RF) and read the number on the large LCD — no setup or calibration needed. Standard mode shows the raw field strength; Weighted mode applies extra emphasis to the frequencies considered most biologically relevant, and will usually read higher on the same source.
Every TF2 ships with a 9V battery so it’s ready to use straight out of the box, along with a hard carry case for safe storage and transport between rooms or job sites.
